Turntable Lab have in the music business for 10 years as leading purveyors of records, DJ equipment and paraphernalia, with stores in New York City, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Turntable Lab saw first hand the changes that digital content and media brought to the music industry and knew they needed a solution. When Turntable Lab approached Tekked to to build their next generation digital music store, they had one very important criteria – that their digital music store could be operated, managed and curated much like their physical record stores. Key to the success of the project was giving them the tools to effectively undertake their managerial tasks, whilst reducing the cost of ownership.
